Are you tired of your aftershave lotion? Are you unable to find an effective shaving gel? Do you think searching for any productive product is simply wasting money on useless items? Are you a man worried of problems like pimples, blemishes and wrinkles on your skin? If yes, then read the secrets for men skin care.
Men skincare is just as important as woman’s. The misleading notion that men should not follow a beauty routine is a story of the past. Everyone has a right to enjoy clear and smoother skin, which is possible by taking a little care of which type of product you put on or use on your skin.
Since male skin comes in to contact with the sun and dust more than women, extra care should be taken. Always wear a sun-block lotion with a suitable range of SPF before going out; it should be water proof to help resist your skin from UV ray damages. Regularly wash your face with a good soap-free wash to clean the dirt and oil.
Regularly use a cleanser to get a clearer skin, a gentle skin massage helps the face pores to open and breathe oxygen which will rejuvenate the glow of your face. Also, use a moisturizer if you have a drier skin type and toner specially designed for men. Using shaving lotions and gels which suit your skin type and does not produce redness and itching during or after usage will be your best bet.
Always remember that there is no supplement that can beat natural ingredients, as they are harmless and work much better than their synthetic counterparts which may also have certain serious after effects. The products which are made of natural extracts should always be preferred. Some of these are CoQ10, antioxidants such as retinol and beta carotene, and other naturally obtained substances like phytessence wakame and cynergy TK.
All these ingredients are excellent for our skin. They stimulate natural collagen and elastin in the skin tissues and therefore bring back our youthful glow and radiance. Other than these, vitamin A and C are also added to various products meant for men’s skincare. These are antioxidants and are useful for minimizing the effects of oxidation.
Another men skin care requisite is using after-shave lotion or a toner. It smoothens the skin after harshness of shaving and makes it more even. But be aware that the product you are using should never contain alcohols, preservatives and fragrances since they are not good for our skin health and cause different problems, the biggest of which is skin cancer itself.
Following these steps can lead you to a perfect complexion and a problem-free skin.

Some people researching alpacas as an worthwhile business investment are concerned that the alpaca industry may go bust like the emu schemes of the 1980s. (Emus are a large, ostrich-like bird.) Actually, alpacas are not only a different species, but also a completely different market with a viable, well-established end product–luxurious fiber.
The original strategy for emus was to create an alternative market for meat, like chickens and turkeys. But an emu meat market never materialized in the U.S. You never saw emu roasts in your supermarket, packages of emu drumsticks, smoked emu in the deli, or emu on a restaurant menu. That’s because the emu industry created the infrastructure to harvest the meat and byproducts, process the meat for consumption or get it properly packaged for supermarkets. The emu industry never bought advertising to bring the meat to the public awareness and create a demand.
Emus also produce a valuable oil on their rump pad, although they must be slaughtered to get this oil. However the emu industry never developed an infrastructure to process and market the oil. So there was no real profit from emu oil.
Alpaca is an Elite Fiber
Alpacas produce fiber, not meat. So you don’t have to slaughter the animals to obtain end product. The alpaca lifespan is 15 to 20 years, producing elite, luxurious fleece that can be sheared and processed into textiles year after year. Alpaca fiber is hypoallergenic. Many peolple, who are allergic to sheep’s wool, can comfortably wear alpaca next to their skin. In addition, alpaca is an elite fiber that in demand by fashion houses worldwide.
A raw, unprocessed alpaca fleece usually brings in enough money to pay for an alpaca’s feed and upkeep. Selling alpaca fleece gives the alpaca rancher another revenue stream for his operation. Processing raw fleece into yarn and then into finished apparel adds value that results in higher profits.
Run Away Emu Breeders Market
One female emu can lay 30 to 50 eggs each year. This means that an emu rancher must find buyers for the eggs and/or hatched offspring of each hen. Thus the U.S. emu flock grew too quickly to allow for stable market values. The demand for emus could not keep up with the supply. Since there was no emu meat processing infrastructure, emu ranchers ran out of emu-buying customers. The rapid reproductive rate of emus also made it difficult to keep up with expenses and needed equipment.
In contrast, alpacas give birth to just one baby a year. So alpaca herds grow slowly, yet the demand for alpaca fiber in the fashion industry remains high and is even growing. New U.S alpaca ranches are growing by about 30% per year, with the average start-up ranch purchasing a start-up herd of 2 to 5 animals. Demand for alpacas greatly exceeds supply. Based on the slow, but steady growth rate of the overall U.S. alpaca herd, demand will continue to exceed supply for many years to come.
Closed Alpaca Registry
In addition to the run-away emu growth rate, emus and emu eggs were still being imported into the U.S., which flooded the market. This was a terrible situation for emu farmers, who had no way to sell the meat, and no new emu farms to sell live birds and eggs. Many emu farmers quit the business and turned their birds loose into the woods.
The North American alpaca industry has closed its animal registration book, the Alpaca Registry, Inc. (ARI), to imports. This means that only alpacas, whose parents are already in the stud book can be registered. Having an unregistered alpaca is like having a house without a deed or a car without an owner’s certificate. A closed registry protects North American alpaca farms from seeing their alpaca investment lose value in a market flooded with imports.
AOBA National Marketing
Another way that the alpaca industry differs from the emu industry is that it has a well-organized national marketing organization, the Alpaca Owners and Breeders Organization (AOBA), which drives the alpaca industry in the following ways:
- Purchases TV advertising on satellite that markets into rural areas.
- Certifies alpaca halter and fleece shows throughout the USA
- Publishes the Alpaca Farm and Ranch Guide for people researching alpaca investment and provides well-qualified sales leads to AOBA members
- Publishes Alpacas Magazine to promote alpaca ranching and apparel
- Hosts an annual Fiber to Fashion conference to promote alpaca fiber and apparel.
Herdsire Stud Fees
Unlike emus, alpacas herdsire can earn significant stud fees. The value of an alpaca is directly related to the quality of it’s genetic charactistics. The quality of an animal’s fiber is greatly determined by its genetics. Fortunately, a female with mediocre fleece can produce babies with much better fleece characteristic by simply breeding her to a superior herdsire. There can be dramatic fiber improvement in just one generation. This makes it possible to improve the genetics of the offspring, and thus improve the overall value of a rancher’s herd on a continual basis. So breeding females “up” to a superior male is important in the alpaca industry.
The majority of ranches own less than 10 females. So alpaca ranches, especially smaller ranches, often need to purchase breeding services. Either they don’t own a herdsire, or their males are too closely related to the females, which would result in in-breeding. It’s very common for a stud service fee to cost between $1000 to $2000, with really top national herdsire services going for $3500 to $5000.
In short, the prognosis for the alpaca industry is excellent because it is based on the sound market principles of steady herd growth rate, demand exceeding supply, and the increasing value of elite fiber.
Virginia Lyons owns Able Oaks Ranch Alpacas in East Texas. She has been breeding and raising elite alpacas and miniature llamas with persistently fine fiber since 2003. Virginia is an experienced weaver and teaches workshops and hosts free events about alpaca ranching, alpaca fiber, and much more.

We see it every political season. Every TV, radio, print, web, and now cell phone bogged down with political advertisements. It’s nearly impossible to go anywhere without something telling you who to vote for this fall. Here is the real kicker… Even with the extreme overkill in political advertising – we often see businesses attempt to make the marketing pieces for their own businesses resemble political advertisements. With slogans such as “I’m X-name and I approved this message”, or marketing brochures that resemble political flyers. To anything and everything in between.
Is it really a good idea to take a business’s marketing theme, and mold it to resemble one of the most publicly hated types of marketing? Probably not. While there is nothing wrong with marketing that pokes fun at pop culture and the issues of the day, there can be backlash, or simply “block-out” of a message that is delivered in a style the general public has been conditioned to tune-out for years. The result of molding a business marketing campaign to resemble a political campaign is quite simple… marketing money lost. Not because your commercials or marketing pieces were not creative, entertaining, or compelling. They simply resembled something that the public is very prone to block, and that just doesn’t translate in to ROI.
In a time frame when 60-70% of all marketing is political, it is more important than ever to make your marketing stand out on its own merit. Not blending into the river of politics that grows deeper every day. So when you begin to think up and put together your fall marketing theme’s, ideas and strategies. Keep in mind the importance of standing out, and showcasing what your business is really all about. And if your business is not about getting someone into an elected office, your marketing shouldn’t be either.

It is easy to sell women’s clothing in the market. Women are more likely to buy clothing than man. In fact, some consider it a hobby to shop for clothings. They buy clothes in various designs and colors. They never consider it a waste of time and money when buying clothes.
When shopping for clothing, most women become conscious of their figures. They think that they should have small to medium figures to fit most women’s clothing. However, it’s a fact that women sizes differs. Some women are intended to be small. Some have average size, while others are really naturally big. In other words, not all women have same sizes. Whatever the sizes are, what matters is that there is clothing in the market that fit their specific sizes. As most clothing lines in the market are modeled after lean women, women plus sizes are left out. Sometimes these big women have to own customized plus sizes clothing to fit their figures. They either go to dressmakers to make plus sized clothing or they look for stores that offer plus sized clothing.
Fortunately, some clothing companies offer women’s plus sizes. This makes it easy for women with plus sizes to order and buy clothing that are suitable for them. Choosing the right store for the right clothing can help women get those needed stylish looks despite having full figures. Plus size stores can be seen on the internet, in malls, and on-site exclusive stores. They offer various plus sized clothing which includes shoes, blouses, trousers and dresses which are trendy in style and definitely fits well to full figures.
Cherry Bonachita offers plus size apparel through Cruz Plus Sizes. Please visit http://www.cruz-plus-sizes.com/about.php to view plus size apparel and learn how to order.

Are you and your spouse worried about what’s happening with your savings, your pension, your children’s college funds, or just staying employed? The Dow Jones is under 10,000 and European banks sound as shaky as the US banks. Do you find yourself fearful of your futures together? Do you find yourselves disagreeing with your partner about how to weather this financial meltdown? Do you find yourselves arguing because one of you makes more money and feels like they have more control over how money is spent? When money gets tight as a result of reduced income or increased mortgage payments and is combined with financial fears of the future, those old money arguments (my money vs. your money) may be causing you problems again. It is time for the two of you to have discussions again about money.
In his book Love & Money, Jeff Opdyke says: “It’s not really about the money. It’s about creating another level of intimacy in your relationship and bestowing trust on each other.” He further recommends joint accounts for couples which explicitly demonstrates the trust you have with your spouse.
When we keep secrets from our spouse about how much we make, how we spend money, or even how much money we have, this indicates a measure of distrust in the other person. When times are tough like now, you need to trust and have faith in your legal and romantic partner. All your money and all your debts are consider joint by the state. If you are not considering them joint, you are losing out. You lose resources that your partner brings to solving financial problems. You lose a feeling of honesty about yourself. And you lose some ability to manage your family finances in the best way possible.
If the two of you are not quite ready to combine your accounts, at least try to agree on and be committed to the following:
1. Agree to live within your means, so that expenses do not exceed your income.
2. Agree to open, honest communication about money.
3. Promise not to blame one another, judge each other, or keep secrets about money.
4. Be prepared to listen to your partner and understand their perspective.
You both need to be fully aware of the family gross and net income, to know where household (and individual) money goes each month and to know how much debt you have and the interest costs you are paying.
If you are unable to have a frank and open discussion about your money with your spouse, you may benefit from seeing a marriage counselor. The National Registry of Marriage Friendly Therapists (www.marriagefriendlytherapist.com) is a good resource for finding a therapist who is invested in helping you save your marriage. If you are unable to curb your spending, you might consider Debtors Anonymous, an organization for people trying to reduce debt and regain solvency. If you need a housing counselor or help with your mortgage, go to the web site of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (www.hud.gov) and click on the Hope for Homeowners link.
It’s important to realize you are not alone. Many couples and families are struggling. Don’t let your marriage be a casualty of the worst financial disaster most of us have ever seen. You and your spouse are in this together. Get the help you need to keep your marriage stable and safe.
If you decide that you might need marriage counseling, check out my website, http://www.PamLipe.com My specialty is marriage and relationship counseling. For 20 years, I have been helping couples find the love and support they want in their marriages. My therapy practice serves the metropolitan area of Minneapolis/St.Paul, MN.

Have you ever heard a woman hating her womanhood? I have. They must be around us and they might be able to express their feelings here in the western worlds we live in. In Iran, there are many women who hate their womanhood and they do not have a voice. They might have many reasons for their feelings, yet, they are unable to identify the hatred toward their own gender.
I will try to be their voice now.
Recently I met a lady who has newly immigrated to Canada. The conversation I had with this lady impacted me deeply and made me to write this article. I found this woman an authentic human being who cares for human life. She left Iran one year ago with the hope to give her two adult children and her family a chance to breathe freedom.
I met this lady over in an unplanned setting. I happened to be in the same place she was and we basically had a regular woman conversation about the reasons why we Iranian leave Iran. a new immigrant she started to tell me about the adjustment challenges here and the concerns she had in finding work like many others. I asked her what she did back home. She said as a midwife. Then she added that her working environment back home was quite hard and she could not do it any more.
This little conversation soon gave her a chance to tell me stories of her reality back home. Stories that were part of everyday life in that city she comes from.
She said that she has worked past 14 years as a midwife in a city north of Iran. She started depicting all those women who are in extra affairs with married men who are hungry for extra sexual relationship and who are fantasizing a lot. She continued describing how these usually young women are abused and exploited for little money. Some of these women have no choice she said, they do this for the financial support they receive from these men. These young women sometimes have several men to serve at the same time, since these men can afford to have extra lovers while they are authorities who preach on morality and a just society. My midwife friend would see these women once they came to ask for advice on illegal abortion or anyway they could get rid of unwanted pregnancies.
As she was talking, I kept thinking, I would not call these women prostitute, although this is what they do, they sell their bodies for money. However, the circumstances around why these women do this are totally different from the issue of prostitution in the West. Not that we want to glamorize these women, no, women in those extra affairs usually have no choice or no voice. They do this for financial reasons sometimes to feed a family of their own. However this article is neither about the complex issue of prostitution nor about the dangerous life do these women live within.
No this article is about the experiences of a midwife who have seen hundreds of cases, where young under age girls were brought to her because they were pregnant, an act that brings disgrace to the family and to the community they lived in. Our midwife added that the controversy about abortion is much more complex in Iran than anywhere else. Young teenage girls are not supposed to have sex and if this is known they could be sentenced to death or harsh consequences. However, she knew that these girls did not have any consented sex and they were mostly raped, abused, or forced to sexual activity by some one.
In one case our midwife recalls she was contacted by a woman who asked for an appointment. One hour later she came back with her 15 years old daughter who complained about not having her menstruation. Our midwife could right away after a regular examination say that she was pregnant carrying a six month old baby. This young girl started crying and denying, while the belly was sticking out and the reality could not even be denied. Our midwife tried to find out who is the father and how is that she has not told anyone. The young girl whose paled face indicated neglect and deprivation whispered to her ears that it was her brother. Our midwife knew if this story goes out both brother and sister could be sentenced to death. She referred this mother to another midwife who has an in-home clinic where she performs several abortions every week. This colleague to our midwife who is running this secret clinic endangers her life for helping these young girls who have no where to go.
Our midwife says she feels bad for all these young victims of sexual abuse and rape.
These are all young girls who were used and abused by men around them and now that they carry a baby, no one is out there to support them. What happens is that these young girls some at age 13-14 or 15 has to find out someone who wants to help them to wipe out the evidence of a sexual act that they were forced to.
Our midwife said that she hated her womanhood every time she had a client in that age, young beautiful girls who were sexually abused, raped, exploited, while they had no voice. All in all these girls and their mothers usually have to keep this horrible act of crime secret because they live in a system that victims are blamed in any case. She said that our young girls in some families and communities in Iran are raped easily and no one is there to protect them. Those who try to seek justice they might be doomed to death sentence because according to the laws sex before marriage is a sin. At this moment, our midwife was red in her face and she wiped her tears while she explained that she has witnessed many young pregnancies that had to end in dangerous life threatening situations.
She added that she has seen hundreds of cases of young girls who were raped and sexually exploited by their brothers, fathers, uncles, and someone else in the family. However, she never could share this information with anyone. Now that she is in Canada she hopes to find a job that has nothing to do with her past. I asked for a number and she said I was only one midwife and there are many others around the country. She was sure that the number is much higher than it can be conceptualized. This is a harsh reality back home that no one can deal with it because our nation is fed with ideology instead of education, she added.
I think of these brave midwives who risk their life and income while they are left out to decide what to do with these young girls, our children who are left out with no support, our children who are supposed to be children and grow up in a thriving environment. After this conversation I really felt numbed, shocked, and in rage. Why are we Iranian doomed to a situation like this? We see the problem still, we can not do much for it, we have no cure for it. What have we done to deserve such a horrible situation where our families are left out with no education, no rights, no support, and no voice?
How come our home country, Iran, is left out in such darkness where life is a taboo and death is appreciated?
I guess there are many of us who wonder about the same thing? When are we supposed to see our home country and our people thrive? I am not sure. We are not sure?!
Poran Poregbal Vancouver, B.C. July 1, 2008
I would like to open up a healthy communication about our Iranian culture and what is included. In doing so, we need to be able to challenge our beliefs about our own culture. Just by analyzing our own culture, we would be able to help our next generations in adjusting in wherever we live with respect for all cultures they are involved with. we need to set up new boundaries and define many concepts from scratch zero. I would like to encourage healthy communication, positive participation, and cooperation in respect for building healthy families within our Iranian community. Mental health issues are my main area of interest where I hope to offer a multicultural sensitive counselling.

Who would not love to have their hands on some cheap NFL jerseys? Some people recognize the fact that there are far more other things which they can splurge on. Regardless of how inviting authentic NFL jerseys are, they can just be too costly to be considered bought by an average football fan. So in order to compromise, cheap NFL jerseys are availed of instead. But the problem here is that cheap often becomes synonymous with low quality. In the end, you still don’t get your money’s worth because you end up buying dysfunctional stuff.
Still, that doesn’t mean you should not consider buying cheap NFL jerseys at all. Even if it’s a risk you have to take, the money you’ll save can still make you think twice when purchasing authentic ones. However, there are many ways in which you can compromise your love for the game with what your wallet can actually afford. There are some tricks and tips which can help give you access with cheap NFL jerseys without risking quality over price.
Your first stop is the internet. Yes, the online world is among your best friends when it comes to looking for cheap NFL jerseys. Within a few keywords entered into some search engine, you will be surprised at how many search results and websites your keywords can lead you to. One of the best websites perhaps when it comes to looking for cheap stuff is eBay. People there sell second hand materials for lesser costs and if you have no qualms whatsoever when it comes to getting pre-owned products then you’ll find eBay a haven. You should just be careful in choosing the people you want to deal with and make sure that their terms are something you really approve of before entering into transactions with them.
Another good website online is Mitchell and Ness as they are known for providing football fans with authentic jerseys. However, they operate pretty much like eBay so they post jerseys for fans to bid on. And as how it all goes with other biddings, the best (often equals to highest) bidder gets the auctioned item. You need to remember that most M&N apparel are tagged as authentic but who knows, you might get lucky and be able to score an authentic NFL jersey within a few dollars worth. So still, this site is worth checking.
If you are of the keen kind and you wanted to make sure of the quality of your buys, you should then check out your local sports apparel shops. The chances of you finding cheap NFL jerseys there are endless. Local sports apparel shops have their own unique line catering to NFL for those who wanted to be in touch with their favorite teams by wearing NFL labeled clothing. It’s also great to check them out personally so that you can really see if the size of the clothes fit you. In addition, you can pay them in cash if you feel rather apprehensive when leaving credit card details online.
